This 2,000 sq. ft. two-story De Beers flagship store is the first store in Canada and one of the tallest De Beers facades in the world. dkstudio project managed the construction management venture on the ground with a brand new team of designer, architects, general contractor and millworkers.

The store proved to be a very challenging project in terms of the reconciliation of the design intent with local codes, by-laws, and site requirements. To that effect, dkstudio diligently adhered to the design standards from Switzerland, and worked closely with local trades, glass suppliers, and vendors to realize the vision. The Swiss Project Designer deemed the Vancouver store the best executed De Beers project worldwide to date.
