Mennie Canada is a manufacturer of fiberglass doors based in Woodbridge, Ontario. Their new space is a refurbishment of an existing warehouse  spanning over 10,000 square feet, with office area around 3500 square feet.

After acquiring a warehouse in Woodbridge, the company appointed dkstudio architects inc. to design them a warehouse with offices. dkstudio approached the design strategically working with the existing layout as much as possible, introducing design elements such as curved walls with cove lights, glass partitions and a feature reception to create a welcoming space.

The marble reception counter was designed in collaboration with the owner and the contractor; dkstudio worked together with the team make the construction easy and economical.

A display of Mennie Canada's fiberglass doors stretch across from the reception, with staff offices beyond. Behind the reception is the CEO office. Frosted glass doors with the Mennie Canada logo separate the public and private spaces. Despite its location in an industrial mall in Woodbridge, the Mennie Canada warehouse and office was completed with minimal alterations without forsaking design; complimenting the company's dedication to beauty and strength in the design of their doors.
