montreal ogilvy facade design

Louis Vuitton commissioned dkstudio for a design study of the exterior facade of the historical Ogilvy department store in Montreal. The client was seeking to breathe new life into the landmark building using light to highlight the existing structure. dkstudio proposed a striking LED lit facade which would illuminate the building’s ornate Romanesque columns, arches & intricate stone details, creating a sense of drama and presence on of the most important retail corners in Montreal. dkstudio was also commissioned to be the designer in charge of the renovation of the Louis Vuitton store in La Maison Ogilvy.
